It’s pretty safe to say that the boys and girls in Cupertino have been hard at work on their next big project, but they’re also pretty good at keeping secrets. We are fully expecting an update to the iPhone line this summer, but what will it contain?According to this leaked video, we can expect an HD LCD screen at the very least. From what we hear, the new touchscreen display will boast a 940 x 640 pixel resolution. We also hear that it gets the same Apple A4 processor (or some variant) as the iPad too, as well as CDMA for Verizon as we touched upon previously in our iPhone 4g coverage.
Perhaps one of the more interesting features revealed in this video can be found with the casing. As you can see, there is a definite gap where a forward-facing camera could fit, pointing toward the very real possibility of video telephony. Naturally, you’ll want to take this video with a grain of salt, because nothing is completely official until Steve Jobs takes the stage and tells us about yet another magical product.
